Display in Saratoga Health & Wellness (ongoing)

Before I moved to Northampton MA in March 2026, I used to work out at Saratoga Health and Wellness on Maple Ave in Saratoga Springs, NY. A few years ago, I asked the co-owners Nick and Mike if I could display photos on two walls in the main exercise room, and it’s been a regular feature ever since. I replace individual canvas prints every so often, which keeps the display fresh, adding newly printed ones to ones that have been displayed before. Since making the transition from ‘regular’ photos to abstract photography, I’ve been alternating between the two, but the abstract photos have surprised me how well they have been received. There are typically 8-12 displayed, and here I showcase the latest ones.
Even though I no longer live in Saratoga, Nick and I thought it might be a good idea to continue this tradition, so I'll be refreshing the display roughly every month. The ones below were added on June 18th, 2026. All my canvas prints are for sale—please contact me or Nick, or Mike if you are interested in purchasing any of them.
As new ones are added, I’ll drop ones that have been replaced.

Pebble Sky.
This is the reflecting pool at the Clark Institute in Williamstown, MA. If you turned it upside down, you's see the pebbles reflected in the water with trees in the background.
Calm after the Storm
This is a multiple exposure of the Neilson House at the Saratoga Battlefield.
Barge in the River Thames in London, UK.
What I liked about this photo is how colors in the barge seem to be reflected in colors in the background. Near St Pauls Cathedral.
Storm clouds over the American flag.
A straight photo taken the day after my granddaughter was born in Northampton, MA. (I leave it to others to create their own interpretations).
Garlic scapes dancing.
This is a multiple exposure of garlic scales in my Saratoga garden. (I have several versions of this image (square, elongated to 80", 20x16)
Ebb and Flow.
An abstract photo created from multiple images at the Saratoga State Park.
A whimsical treatment of a Whole Foods shopping bag
Delphinium flower.
This 12x12 hangs right near where Nick, Lindsey and Mike sit when they aren't training clients. It looks like a painting, but actually it's a photo, post-processed in Lightroom and Photoshop.
